Task: Membranes that have specific binding characteristics to use in clinical diagnostics.

Solution: Nitrocellulose blotting membranes designed for low background and customized cut-off – documented for each batch.

Polyester membrane in electron microscope

Task: Separation of erythrocytes from whole blood

Solution: PETE-membrane 99% retention of erythrocytes with low non specific binding and hydrophilic surface in combination with PES-membranes.

Task: Centrifugal filtration unit for 4 ml sample that will not be blocked by cell fragments.

Solution: MicroSpin with a combination of prefilter and membrane.

Task: Cleaning Latex particles by Buffer exchange; volume > 50 l with high yield.

Solution: MemPro-System using CrossFlow-Modules with 5.7 m² membrane areas and a MWCO of 50 nm. No need of cleaning and validation of this procedure, because module will be replaced for each new production. Easy scale-up, complete system can be enlarged to 3 times the capacity in production.

Task: Cleaning of nanotubes

Solution: SC-Systems with CrossFlow-modules cut off 0.2/0.1 µm, blocking of membranes is prevented by back flushing that is automatically initiated.
